New General Manager has been appointed to Spahotel Casino
Niina Pulkkinen has been appointed as a General Manager of Spahotel Casino starting from the 13th of November 2023.
She is transferring to her new role as a General Manager from her previous position at Spahotel Casino as a successful operational manager.
Prior to her one year long Operations Manager position she has worked at Spahotel Casino in various manager-level positions as well as in other hotel an restaurant operations within the area of Savonlinna.
Pulkkinen combines locality and strong market knowledge of the Savo region. This enables Spahotel Casino to offer even more appealing services to both the Savonlinna area tourists and the locals.
With the lead of Niina preparations are already underway for the coming summer’s opera season at the same time as the preparations for Christmas parties, themed brunches and Christmas-time vacations are going full steam ahead in the winter wonderland at Savonlinna.

Acting General Manager to pilot Hotel Rantapuisto
Essi Pennanen has been announced as the acting General Manager of Hotel Rantapuisto starting from the 13th of November 2023.Essi brings her strong know-how to Rantapuisto’s operational activities as an General Manager. Essi is still continuing in her role as Director of Commercial and Sales at Primehotels in addition to her new role in Rantapuisto.
At Hotel Rantapuisto the architecture of the 60s and the Finnish design in an enchanting seaside views together offer versatile options for organizing events of all kinds. Family parties, from seaside weddings to birthdays in a private Kellariravintola space as well as corporate events from well-being days of the employees to meetings and gatherings of up to three hundred people in our auditorium – are Rantapuisto at it’s best.
This gem of Eastern is also known for it’s weekend brunches, restaurant Furu’s sophisticated Finnish flavors and the completely renovated sauna located at the beach-side, which our accommodating guests can enjoy during the weekends. Last summer’s novelty is the hotel’s own beehive that provides delicious honey for our guests at our breakfast. As responsibility and the surrounding nature are an important part of Rantapuisto’s DNA, we dare to expect new winds in the coming year, both for the plates of our meeting guests and for the enjoyment of tourists enjoying a summer day by the sea.
